Intermediate and Senior SCADA RTU Programmers - Calgary, AB
Position:
As a valuable team member you would be expected to develop, maintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of real-time applications involving multiple languages and databases. You must be able to work with minimum supervision, however, recognizing and utilizing the abilities and resources at hand within other team members.
You will be jointly developing industrial software for SCADA, oil and gas measurement, communication protocols, field data capture, and production reporting applications to name a few. You must be comfortable with basic hardware troubleshooting and PC networking as required in real-time environments.
Requirements:
Degree/diploma in Computer Science/Technology with appropriate experience in real-time control systems programming. Should be fluent with VB, or C++. Experience with Bristol Babcock or ScadaPack RTU’s is required and applications experience with oil and gas production or pipeline SCADA systems is an asset. The Senior position demands superior interpersonal communication skill and experience as a project Technical Leader.
